We’re looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber who can run calls independently, represent Gatlin with professionalism in every home, and take pride in doing the job right. Our plumbing work focuses on remodel and replacement, not new construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing residential plumbing issues and delivering accurate, code-compliant solutions
- Performing water heater repair and replacement, including tank and tankless systems, across all makes and models
- Installing and servicing gas lines — inspection, repair, and new installs — as licensed work
- Handling leak detection and repair, fixture work (toilets, faucets, sinks, tubs and showers), and garbage disposal replacement
- Responding to emergency calls: burst pipes, flooding, and water leaks — including a scheduled evening and weekend on-call rotation
- Educating customers on their options and adhering to all safety protocols and local plumbing code during every job
- Documenting services, issues, and truck inventory records thoroughly
- Collaborating with dispatch, customer service, and other technicians, and mentoring apprentices on the job
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Journeyman Plumber license (able to run service calls independently)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in plumbing service and repair
- Experience with residential remodel and replacement work (no new construction)
- Working knowledge of water heaters (tank and tankless), gas lines, leak detection, and common fixtures
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physical capability to lift equipment, dig by hand when required, and work in various conditions, including summer heat
