Position Overview:
As an Apprentice Electrical Technician at Gatlin Heat & Air, you will work under the guidance of a Journeyman Electrician. This entry-level learning role is designed to provide hands-on experience in diagnosing and installing electrical systems related to HVAC services. You will gain valuable skills and knowledge, setting the foundation for a successful career in the electrical and HVAC industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Journeyman Electrician in diagnosing electrical issues in HVAC systems.
- Support the installation and maintenance of electrical components in HVAC systems.
- Learn to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Help ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Journeyman Electrician or management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
