Position: Service Technician
Location: Yukon
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Efficiently diagnose and identify issues with HVAC systems, providing quick and accurate solutions.
- Maintenance Services: Conduct regular maintenance checks and services for HVAC units to ensure they function at optimal levels.
- Repair Works: Handle repairs of HVAC systems, ensuring they align with both company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Customer Liaison: Educate clients about system maintenance, the features of their HVAC units, and answer any questions they may have.
- Safety First: Ensure all safety protocols and standards are upheld during service checks, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of services performed, issues identified, and repairs made. This includes maintaining inventory records of parts used.
- Stay Updated: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the HVAC industry.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the customer service team to update them on job status, and work alongside other technicians for more complex tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC technical training or certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Proficiency in a broad range of HVAC systems and brands.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective customer interactions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in various conditions.
