Position: Installation Technician
Location: Yukon
Job Responsibilities:
- System Installations: Install various HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ensuring that they are set up accurately and safely according to manufacturer’s guidelines and company standards.
- Site Assessment: Examine installation sites and evaluate the best setup procedures, ensuring a seamless installation process.
- Customer Consultation: Provide clients with guidance on system use, maintenance tips, and answer any queries related to the installation.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring both personal safety and that of clients and colleagues.
- Tools and Equipment: Operate a range of hand and power tools proficiently. Ensure they are maintained in good condition and stored properly after use.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with other technicians, customer service representatives, and the sales team to guarantee smooth operations and superior customer experiences.
- Documentation: Record details of each installation, noting any challenges encountered and solutions employed. Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing training and certification opportunities to stay current with the latest HVAC technologies and installation techniques.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certification in HVAC or related field is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- Familiarity with a diverse range of HVAC systems and brands.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and teammates.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varied conditions (heights, tight spaces, varying temperatures).
